“Voted Yea on Georgia HB 1192, to suspend new sales tax exemption certificates for high-technology data center equipment”

The Georgia House of Representatives passed HB 1192, which would have suspended the issuance of new certificates of exemption from state sales and use tax for high-technology data center equipment and revised the new-quality-job requirement attached to the exemption, while creating a special commission on data center energy planning.
