“Voted Aye on putting repeal of Arizona's data center sales tax exemption into Pima County's 2026 state legislative agenda”

Two months after approving the Project Blue land sale, the Board voted 4-1 to put elimination of Arizona's data center sales-tax exemption into the county's 2026 state legislative agenda, directing its lobbyist to work against the exemption on equipment purchases by computer data centers.
